On Saturday the 17th of June, Dobronianka agrotourism center near Pabianice experienced a real invasion of Delia employees with their families. This day was chosen for the picnic organised to celebrate our company’s 25th anniversary. We were there, ate, drank, got emotional and had fun all day and almost all night!

The formula of an open air family picnic, full of outdoor attractions, worked perfectly thanks to the careful selection of the location. Dobronianka represents agritourism at its best, with a mini-zoo full of nice alpacas and other animals that perfectly acclimatized to the large, green area. The youngest participants of the picnic could have fun on the inflatables, while the older ones took part in numerous agility competitions. Simultaneously, their parents, in a cheerful atmosphere, tried tasty grilled dishes and chatted about everything … except of work!

The official part of the event brought tears to the eyes of many. The 25th anniversary of a company is a brilliant occasion for numerous memories and outlook into it’s history, as well as lavish awards received by those who have been working in Delia the longest. Alina and Józef Szmich, from whom it all began, planted symbolic trees. Their son and current President of Delia – Karol Szmich, in a short speech, thanked everyone who participated and continues to create the present and future of the company. Then, numerous prizes in the form of shopping vouchers and live cash went to the lucky winners!

What happened next? Just fun! In the champagne atmosphere of a summer evening, our team ate, drank and danced almost until sunrise. Shame on those who weren’t there!
