According to WHO recommendations, the most effective disinfectants are agents based on ethyl or isopropyl alcohol in the concentration of min. 60%. According to CDC - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, substances such as: benzalkonium chloride, chlorhexidine have antibacterial activity - but they are not as effective as ethyl or isopropyl alcohol and are not recommended to be used as an alternative to products with alcohol.
